Questions we hear

Can I apply if my state isn't listed?

Yes. Businesses outside these six states may still apply, and every application is reviewed individually.

Do businesses trade with each other?

Arrangements are made directly between your business and Bread or Barter. Each one is individually reviewed and mutually agreed.

How is barter handled for taxes?

Barter is generally taxable at fair market value, just like a cash sale. Businesses remain responsible for their own tax and accounting obligations, and Bread or Barter may provide required reporting information where applicable.
